LAHORE: The murder of dismissed inspector Naveed Saeed and his friends sent a wave of panic in through the Lahore police department as higher police authorities and other law enforcing agencies have ordered special and secret inquiries into the interests and actions of police officials who were in the administration, involved in staged encounters and recruited in Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif’s era, police sources told Daily Times. Sources said that information about police officers running real estate businesses was also sought.
They said that police officials who were in the administration during the era were then Punjab inspector general Jehanzaib Burki, Lahore deputy commissioner Fawad Hassan Fawad, deputy inspectors general (DIGs) Muhammad Iqbal and Tariq Saleem Dogar, senior superintendents of police (SSPs) Saood Aziz, Malik Ahmad Raza Tahir, Kalb-e-Abbas and Zulfiqar Cheema.
Those who were involved in staged encounters were then superintendents of police (SPs) Aslam Sahi, Habib Khan, Ahmad Khan Chadar and Shakeel Mirza, deputy superintendents of police (DSPs) Tariq Kambo, Tahir Alam Khan, Azmat Gondal, Akhtar Lalika, Umar Virk, Chaudhry Shafqaat, Jammat Ali Bukhari and Chaudhry Aslam, inspectors Naveed Saeed, Ashiq Marth, Abid Boxer, Mehar Azam, Azam Wahga, Aslam Niazi, Faraz, Sarfaraz Shah, Abid Pehalwan, Zameerul Haq, Sheikh Iftikhar, Imtiaz Bhalli, Mustehsan Shah, Babar Ashraf Ansari, Rashid Amin Butt, Amjad Qureshi, Riaz Ali Shah, Ahmad Saleem, Mukhtar Shah, Ahmad Pervaiz, Moeen Hafeez, Zafarullah Khan, Tallat Mahmood, Sharif Bhatti, Tariq Shajwar, Riyasat Javed Bajwa, Zeeshan Kazmi, Chaudhry Anwar and Sarwar Commando, sub-inspectors (SIs) Ibrar Rizvi, Muhammad Nawaz, Abdul Shakoor, Bashir Niazi, Mian Saqib and Mian Shafqat and assistant sub-inspectors (ASIs) Qayyum Chattha and Abdul Aziz. Most of the mentioned officers are still in the police force while some of them are on long leave and live abroad.
Police officers running real estate and other business are DSP Amjad Qureshi, Inspector Ashiq Marth, Ashraf Chaddar, Tahir Gujjar, Malik Rashid, Mian Shafaqat, Ibrar Shah, Ali Imran Niazi, Malik Mushtaq and Khalid Saeed, sources said.
Police sources said Naveed Saeed’s murder also created panic within the top level of the society. Sources said that there were two incidents which showed the importance of Naveed Saeed during the era of Shahbaz Sharif as chief minister. On October 12, 1999, former prime minister Mian Nawaz Sharif directed the then Sindh IG Rana Maqbool to plan Chief of Army Staff and President General Pervez Musharraf’s arrest, they said. They said that Rana Maqbool immediately called Naveed Saeed to Karachi from Lahore to plan the arrest and Saeed reached the Karachi Airport within one hour, using special protocol and authority. Naveed Saeed was also called earlier by Rana Maqbool especially to interrogate Asif Ali Zardai.
Police sources said investigations were in progress and the police was trying to figure out the actual reason behind the murder of Naveed Saeed and his friends, as there were many investigation angles. No arrests had been made yet, they said.
Sources said that Naveed Saeed’s 18 personal bodyguards were prime suspects because they were present at the time of murder and they did not fire a single shot at the assailants in reaction. None of them was injured and not a single bullet hit their vehicle which was parked at the place where the incident took place, they added. However, police have denied the presence of his guards at the place.
Sources said other suspects were relatives and friends of desperados who were killed by Naveed Saeed in staged encounters. Police were investigating friends and relatives of Nawaz Butt, Hanif and Shafique, they added.
Sources said that Hanif and Shafique’s younger brothers Nadeem and Naeem, who were living in the UK, tried to kill Naveed Saeed in the UK a couple of years ago. They stabbed Naveed Saeed but he survived, they added. Sources said that Nawaz Butt’s son was also in UK at that time and was living with Nadeem and Naeem. They said that Nadeem and Naeem were the main suspects because they had a grudge against Naveed Saeed for killing their brothers and later their father Eid Muhammad.

NICK GRIFFIN BNP LEADER
I keep hearing negative always about Mr. Nick Griffin when it comes to the media coverage. In fact on every platform where I have witnessed his speech I honestly do not find any comments that are offensive towards any race gender or colour. poor guy always speaks in favour of this country, and is supportive of the immigration policy that needs to be put into place. All the political parties labour, conservatives, and the liberal democrats we have seen practically how you cope with the mass immigration. The difference is actually Mr Nick Griffins is right to send a strong message to those who come to this country in the hope of abuse to the legal immigration system, that we are not going to tolerate. While the others have a two faced policy. Here is how the media, treats a man who is respectable enough of leading one of the loving nationalist party, and how people can portray a good speech and point into racial hatred.
Now as you have seen the video, one definitely will have wrong calculations about the person who actually was himself a victim of the BBC 's pre-planned set up to portray him as a bad person. Look at the following to know the truth. I hope you understand the leading news agency and its role how it works...
