Milan chef vents his wrath at restaurant blogger whose review left a bitter taste

But when a British food blogger reviewed the restaurant's new offshoot in the newly-opened exclusive Meydan Beach Club on Dubai's Jumeirah Beach, she felt the full force of the Milan restaurant's chef, after complaining about the prices and service.

Samantha Wood, 39, posted a blog on her website foodiva.net praising the food but complaining about the scant wine list and the authenticity of the Milanese dishes.

To her shock, Andrea Brambilla, the chef de cuisine in the original trattoria in Milan, replied telling her to put a condom on her tongue to "contain the orgasm of your ignorance".

In a lengthy diatribe, he ranted about the "ignorance" of food writers and finished by saying: "All the above is direct also to all 'professors' [who] without having a clue of what they are talking about [keep] writing, twitting, Facebooking [sic]. Guys get a life!"

Miss Wood said she was "shocked by his vulgar language" adding that his response was "not professional".
